Careworks Bill Review - Product Owner
PRIMARY PURPOSE : Directs the independent bill review product for clients and external partners providing project leadership and management, market analysis and product development, and sales and marketing support.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Leadership
· Leads or sponsors cross-departmental or cross-functional teams to align product and services objectives.
· Collaborates with other stakeholders to develop project plans and ensures product and service integrity.
· Ensures an effective flow of information through appropriate channels and promotes the exchange of knowledge among colleagues.
· Analyzes the impact of conclusions and actions on people, technology, structure, and workflow across teams.
· May perform as project manager when completing product and service development work of small to moderate scope.
· Able to develop detailed project plans which capture tasks for all stakeholders.
Product Management
· Takes initiative to improve product efficiency and may lead implementing improvements.
· Independently develops product and service roadmap for assigned product(s).
· Manages activities related to the maintenance of assigned products and services.
· Acts as product subject matter expert for internal and external partners.
Market Analysis and Product Development
· Works with compliance to analyze changing market factors, including legal, competitive, and economic landscape and consumer insights, to develop products and services which drive business growth and deliver a great customer experience.
· Uses multiple data sources and tools to formulate business cases and articulate need for change.
· Maintains a broad perspective when analyzing information, looking beyond the immediate problem to the wider implications.
· Maintains an in-depth knowledge of customers, competitors, competitor offerings and marketplace trends.
Sales and Marketing Support
· Ensures the sales force has product knowledge, training, and support to confidently sell new products.
· Acts as content expert for communications related to products and services assigned.
· Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal and external partners.
· Works with marketing partners to develop campaigns, positioning and strategies for products and services.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
· Performs other duties as assigned.
· Travel as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Licensing
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a related field from an accredited college or university required, advanced degree preferred.
Experience
Ten (10) years of related experience to include five (5) years of bill review product and/or managed care services, or equivalent combination of education and experience required. In-depth and advanced knowledge of assigned product line and market required.

Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and cost of specific location. For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is ($57,238 - $80,000 + bonus eligibility ) . A comprehensive benefits package is offered including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, 401k and matching, PTO, disability and life insurance, employee assistance, flexible spending or health savings account, and other additional voluntary benefits.
