IT Systems Analyst Specialist

PRIMARY PURPOSE : To review, analyze and document software requirements and to lead the business analysis phase for projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Skillsets required for the position:

  • Knowledge and experience in analyzing and documenting requirements related to IT projects of data warehousing, IT application / product development, ETL, data modelling, reporting, data visualization, software upgrades, migrations.

  • Good understanding of SDLC process and procedures

  • Experience in gathering and documenting requirements related to enterprise initiatives projects, system migration or upgrade projects, data warehousing and visualizations

  • Good understanding of software technologies systems and operations

  • Good knowledge and professional expertise of PL/SQL skill

  • Working experience with SAP BO, Tableau/Power BI, Oracle Exadata, SAP HANA is an added advantage

  • Ability to come up with plan and business analysis approach

  • Effective Requirement Elicitation, Use case modelling and creation, data mining, Data flow diagram, data dictionary, decision analysis

  • Good interpersonal, facilitation and negotiation skills

  • Ensure timely communication with to various stake holders

  • Knowledge and expertise in detailed systems analysis, Data mining, data flow diagrams, data dictionary creation, data mapping, decision analysis metrics

  • Knowledge of data analysis with strong Excel skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills

  • Analytical and interpretive skills

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Ability to work in multiple projects in parallel and manage time effectively

  • This position is open to fully remote or hybrid working..

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Supports the organization's quality program(s).

  • Travels as required.

Education & Licensing

Bachelor's degree required; major in computer science field preferred.

Experience

Five (5) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Experience in multi-line claims management processes and system requirements preferred.

  • Knowledge of third-party administration and claims management business and technology

  • Oral and written communication skills

  • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products

  • Analytical and interpretive skills

  • Strong organizational skills
