IT Systems Analyst Specialist
PRIMARY PURPOSE : To review, analyze and document software requirements and to lead the business analysis phase for projects.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
Skillsets required for the position:
Knowledge and experience in analyzing and documenting requirements related to IT projects of data warehousing, IT application / product development, ETL, data modelling, reporting, data visualization, software upgrades, migrations.
Good understanding of SDLC process and procedures
Experience in gathering and documenting requirements related to enterprise initiatives projects, system migration or upgrade projects, data warehousing and visualizations
Good understanding of software technologies systems and operations
Good knowledge and professional expertise of PL/SQL skill
Working experience with SAP BO, Tableau/Power BI, Oracle Exadata, SAP HANA is an added advantage
Ability to come up with plan and business analysis approach
Effective Requirement Elicitation, Use case modelling and creation, data mining, Data flow diagram, data dictionary, decision analysis
Good interpersonal, facilitation and negotiation skills
Ensure timely communication with to various stake holders
Knowledge and expertise in detailed systems analysis, Data mining, data flow diagrams, data dictionary creation, data mapping, decision analysis metrics
Knowledge of data analysis with strong Excel skills
Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills
Analytical and interpretive skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to work in multiple projects in parallel and manage time effectively
This position is open to fully remote or hybrid working..
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs other duties as assigned.
Supports the organization's quality program(s).
Travels as required.
Education & Licensing
Bachelor's degree required; major in computer science field preferred.
Experience
Five (5) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Experience in multi-line claims management processes and system requirements preferred.

Knowledge of third-party administration and claims management business and technology
Oral and written communication skills
PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
